Our services

Lume Detail provides mobile auto detailing in Northern Virginia. Submitting the booking form sends us a request; it does not create a confirmed appointment. An appointment is only confirmed once we contact you to schedule it. Service availability, timing, and final pricing depend on your vehicle’s size and condition, your location, and weather.

Booking, access, and your responsibilities

When you book a detail, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete booking information
• Ensure we have safe, legal access to the vehicle at the agreed location and time
• Provide a suitable spot to work, including access to an outdoor power outlet and water source where required (we'll confirm this when you book)
• Remove personal belongings and valuables from the vehicle before service; we are not responsible for items left inside
• Disclose any pre-existing damage, mechanical issues, or sensitive areas of the vehicle in advance

Pricing and payment

Prices shown on our website are starting estimates. The final price may vary based on your vehicle’s size, condition, and the services performed, and will be confirmed before or at the time of service. Unless otherwise agreed, payment is due at the time of service by cash, Venmo, or Zelle.

Cancellations and rescheduling

If you need to cancel or reschedule, please give us reasonable advance notice (at least 24 hours when possible) so we can offer the slot to another client. We may also need to reschedule due to weather or other circumstances beyond our control, and will work with you to find a new time.

Results and satisfaction

We take great care with every vehicle and aim for outstanding results. However, outcomes depend on the vehicle’s existing condition, and some imperfections, such as deep scratches, swirl marks, permanent stains, oxidation, or wear, may not be fully removable. We will always tell you what is realistically achievable before we begin.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lume Detail is not liable for pre-existing damage or for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from our services. Our total liability for any claim related to a service is limited to the amount you paid for that service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Intellectual property

All content on this website, including text, images, photography, logos, and branding, is owned by Lume Detail or used with permission, and may not be copied or reused without our written consent.

Third-party links

Our site may link to third-party services (such as our Instagram page). We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those external sites.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the latest version, and continuing to use our site or services after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
